Studio Sessions, 11cd
The
Antrabata box contained all known outtakes at the time of its' release. The
tapes used were not as good as they should have been. However, it's a
remarkable attempt and a nice piece.
Midas
Touch released Brutal Artistry immediately after Antrabata's box. It contains
the Swan Song material (cds 2 & 3) plus more Physical Graffiti outtakes (on
cd 3) that are not documented in Luis Rey's 1997 book.
Brutal
Artistry II was released some time later giving us 8.5 minutes of more Physical
Graffiti outtakes (on cd 1) that are not documented in Luis Rey's book.
Unfortunately, it's second disc was entirely a repeat of most of BA's 3rd cd,
but claims to be remastered.
TDOLZ's
Sessions was released before BAII. This title presented 36 minutes of
undocumented Battle of Evermore material (5 more mixes/takes). (The tracks
released on these last three titles are in much improved quality over the
Antrabata title, using clean, low generation stereo tapes.)
Empress
Valley's Lost Mixes debuts new outtakes from the fourth album and Physical
Graffiti.
